Our theme for the month of January is:

The thyroid research group at Mayo Clinic is currently working

with more than 30 research protocols.

Basic researchers study the genes involved

with thyroid tumor development.

Researchers also study the epidemiology

and risk factors associated with thyroid cancer.

Researchers have compiled

a database of information collected from

more than 3,000 patients who have been treated

for thyroid cancer at Mayo Clinic since 1940.
